Timber floating boats have long been developed in Finland. We specialise in the building of modern special-purpose low-tonnage vessels. The sorters and tugboats built by Aslemetals operate well in shallow water, such as rivers, lakes and coastal areas, and they are also winter-capable.
EFFECTIVE TIMBER HANDLING
Aslemetals sorters and tugboats are suited for a variety of sorting and assistive floating tasks, as well as rafting in rollways and canals. Sorters make short work of collecting bundles and rafts for safe towing to a port or factory for processing.
The vessels have superb steering and control thanks to their 360-degree propeller system. These vessels offer the best utility possible with equipment and engine power designed specifically for the operational needs of the buyer.
